Unless she did something that would cause a break, I can totally understand why the doctor didn't want to do an xray. You want to protect children from radiation if you can. Is it red and inflamed looking? Could be infected rather than broken? I would definately take her back and get it looked at again. Hopefully you get an answer this time.

Take her to another doctor fast. If your doctor doesn't listen to you it is time to change doctors. The doctor is paid for by you, he works for you. I would take her to the hospital and get them to do an Xray.

I can't believe they didn't xray to start with she could have a hair line fracture that is causing the tissue around it to swell. Yes I would insist that someone give her xrays be it your regular doctor or a new one.

I'm not a big fan of x-rays, but it does sound like she needs one. X-rays won't help diagnose a musculature issue which is maybe why he didn't want to at first, but since it's gettin worse I would say that x-rays are in order.

Either take her to another doctor or insist the current one take xrays. Poor little darling could have had a broken foot for over a week!

By all means insist your daughter have x-rays of her foot. This could be something serious. It's gotten worse and they need to do something about it. How can they if they don't know what it is. Call back tomorrow and tell them it's worse and she needs X-rays!

My daughter has a bump on her foot and she says it really hurts. My wife and I took her to the doctors and he said it looked like it was a muscle. He didn't want to do x-rays or anything. This was about 1.5 weeks ago. It's still there and it's bigger now and it hurts worse. How can i make them do an x-ray and do you think she needs one?
