As a former nurse I can tell you the number one thing to prevent the spread of illness is washing hands before and after treating any patient. Also you may get sick a lot with colds and stuff at first but gradually your immune system gets stronger and stronger same thing happens for people who work with children.

It is part of their training to be careful so that they won't get infected from the diseases of the patients they are handling. One of the ways they protect themselves is by using a face mask. Washing hands before and after giving care to the patient is another procedure to keep them safe from getting infected.

Caregivers are very susceptible to diseases because they are in contact with the patients with infectious diseases. How do caregivers protect themselves from getting infected?
