Any feeling, whether you have it yourself or whether you actually palpate it is important and you should have it looked at. After the first test, doctors are pretty much sure and they perform additional tests to make sure that they were not mistaken. No need to worry!

I have had those little lumps ever since I had my boys. I had a breast exam and the nurse told me everything felt fine. I was always getting sore in between periods. Then when I got my period it would stop being sore. She said it was part of menopause. I always say if your not sure get checked out. It could save your life. Many people are surviving breast cancer these days.

I found some little lumps in my breast, and went to have a mammogram.  I was so worried!  They even had to take extra pictures, but determined that I was okay.  How do you know if you need to have the lumps checked out?  Or should you have every lump looked at?

I have an area that almost always sore on the side of one breast, but there is nothing there.  Is that something to worry about?
