The sunscreen you apply to protect yourself and loved ones from skin cancer may actually speed up the growth of cancer cells. But do not throw away your sunscreen! Sunscreens are an important part of an overall sun protection plan which includes wearing a hat, sun protective clothing and seeking shade.

Yes, I heard that there are some sunscreens that contain Vitamin A which can speed up the growth of cancerous tumors, and oxybenzone which is absorbed through the skin. I be looking for these to avoid when picking up the sunscreen this year.

Seriously? I've never heard that before. I'm going to keep using it, I can't imagine it would cause cancer. I know when I don't use it I burn bad! I'm a pale guy! I swear they are always changing their minds aren't they?

Have you heard the latest news about sunscreen? They are saying now that is causes cancer, it doesn't prevent it like they claimed it did.
What do you think about this?
