I have heard something like this as well. I do not know the sceince behind it or if it is even true. What I read said something to the effect similar what you said, all men have their sort of own biological clock for it. Some may die earlier from other causes and never reach that point.

Is it true that all men will get prostate cancer at some point if they live long enough? I recall my teacher telling us this, but he said that the point of getting it for one man could be different for another. So it could mean one man would have t live to 102 to get it where as one man could get it at 78. However, both men could also die from totally unrelated causes at an earlier eage.
