sadly, it's immpossible to predict but a medic who knows the patient may be able to give a percentage rate for surviving the next five years. It will be a personal choice whether to have chemo also. My brother in law regretted having it as it prolonged his life by only a couple of months and made his quality of life worse though for some it improves things.
