Thanks for that information Jack about the cracks and the air being expelled. I thought my joints lack lubricants when they crack, the way car parts do.

I don't think it really matters if you crack your knuckles or not. If you are going to have trouble with arthritis or joint trouble, you'll have it anyway. The crack you hear when you crack your knuckles are just little bubbles of air that are in the joints and get expelled forcefully when you bend your knuckles to an extreme amount.

I know I have a nasty habit of cracking my knucles, and I know this is going to weaken the joints but will it weaken the bones too? How besides stopping of course can I help to avoid more issues in the future?
