I have seen something similar to that on tv ads. I had my daughter on Depo shots. If I remember right they cost $15. I think they lasted for 3 months. I also made her pay for them. That`s pretty scary thinking you are on something that is supposed to help and it hurts you.

Is that the one that gave a lot of people blood clots? I remember it touted that it could reduce the number of periods to 3 to 4 times a year, which I know my doctor told my sister that was not good when she would only have that many without using the pill.

OMG! Is she okay now? I thought they had taken that stuff off the market! I am with the other posters how do they get this junk through the FDA?

Wow, that stinks…. I have heard some nightmare stories about it. I wonder how it ever got on the market. I will make sure my daughter never gets that kind of birth control! Scary! I hope she is ok now.

My sister-in-law was rushed to the hospital Monday night because the entire left side of her body went numb. Turns out it was from her birth control – Yaz. What a scary experience…and she's only 25 years old. That Yaz stuff has a really bad reputation.
