I had the Mirena put in 3 months ago and had a lot of headaches for the first month. I also had a lot of cramping in the begining few weeks and light bleeding. I asked my doctor and she did say it was normal.

My sister in law had Mirena the 5 year birth control inserted in her last week and she has been having a lot of cramping and some light bleeding. I was wondering if anyone else has this form of birth control and if that's normal?
