I opted for something more permanent when I had my daughter last year and had my tubes tied. Over the years, I have used the pill, condoms, and spermicide. They all have their high and low points. I think birth control is an individual thing and each couple needs to use what works best for them. It just amazes me how many people I know who aren't trying to conceive yet don't use any form of birth control. That's just plain stupid.

I hate when I hear about "unwanted" pregnancies, its not so much that its unwanted its that people are not beinge when it comes to things. There are so many BC's out there, why wold you not use one?

There are so many more types of birth control out there. I know people that get the Depo shot and it's pretty simple. You don't have to remember to take the pill each day. I still take the pill though.

The main methods of birth control nowadays seem to be the pill and the condom. Do you prefer these means, why or why not? Do you currently use another forum of prevention? If so, why do you use it?
