Other than an unclean enviroment are there any other issues along with maybe pain that could happen from doing this? I wonder the difference between going to a professional or DIY too.

I get my eyebrows waxed, but that's about it. I don't think I could stand the pain of it anywhere else on my body. I have a friend who went for her first Brazilian a couple weeks ago and she said never again. The convenience of waxing is great and all, but the pain and the fact that you have to let the hair grown in first is a deterring factor for me.
