I never had problems with my back until after my pregnancy but since then it has been pretty much a constant thing. Hopefully I will find a way to ease it off soon.

I have no problems with my back until I reached 53. Now, whenever I walk long distance or carry heavy objects, it seems the upper half of my body is separating from the lower part. It hurts…

Our bones and muscles age as we do. It is normal for something to ache as you get older. I can remember my Gramps getting tired and sore and having to sit down as he got older. Just take it easy for a bit and see how your back feels.

You are probably right. I have been resting and it goes away until I walk any distance or do any kind of physical activity no matter how small so there must be something amiss.

Sometimes when you put unusual stress on your back, it can cause a muscle pull or a slipped disc if it was near to happening anyway. You really need to see a doctor to have it looked at. They can do some physical therapy sometimes to help out.

I'm in my sixties but I have never had a problem before then I was just doing the usual hoovering when my lower back began to ache. I could not continue and had to sit down. Why should I suddenly experience pain when I have not before now?
