Yeah that's true. Many (if not most) of our diseases are actually psychosomatic, and the illness is inseparable linked to the mind. So, what affects you mentally would likely affects you physically as well.

I am the biggest worrier there is. I think I create my own stress sometimes. But I can`t help it. Even with medications I still get stressed very easy. I can destress sometimes by playing games on the PC or reading. I love to read , and I really get into my books. It takes me away.

It is amazing how much stress can take it’s toll. I have been learning how to minimize the stressors. I have also been taking an introduction to yoga class. It is all still brand new, but hopefully it will all come together.

I firmly believe that stress can play a role in how you handle more serious diseases too. I would give a cancer patient with a positive outlook more of a chance of survival than someone who became depressed and worried while battling the illness.

Yes, stress can affect you body in many ways. First it weakens your immune system, so you are more likely to actually get an illness. But, it also can be more apparent in getting headaches, muscle aches, digestive issues and so on.

I was talking to my doctor the other day because I have been having some medical issues. They have been running all kinds of tests on me. My issues come down to the stressors that are in my life right now.
Did you know stress could make you sick?
