I have been trying to learn more homeopathic remedies myself like which herbs you can use to treat headaches, colds etc. There may come a time where you can't just go to the doctor anymore and I wouild like to be prepared to take care of my family.

I would try it. I would try it in conjunction with conventional medicine though. I think both have a place and to rule out use of either of them would be harmful. I know several doctors that will use some of the natural remedies as well as what they were taught. How do you think the recommendation for fish oil capsules came about. Every doctor I've ever been too recommends using them to prevent heart disease.

I have never tried this myself but I am always up for trying something new, this way I can tell first hand if it works or not. That would be depending on the reason too (nothing major that could have issues down the road).

Undergoing homeopathic treatment, are you required to take some homeopathic medicines? Like Casey, I have no idea how this type of treatment works. Does it cure serious health problems like cancers and heart diseases?

I agree with you Belinda. The main reason why it is still applied now is that it really works, and people benefit from this kind of treatment. Being a natural treatment, homeopathy treatment has less side effects than medical treatment does.

There is a lot to be said for natural healing practices. I don't rule out mainstream medicine, but sometimes it is good to look into a homeopathic solution. These are practices that have been around for centuries and I believe there is a reason why they have stood the test of time.

I would like to go to one and my insurance even covers it however, I live out in the sticks and the nearest one is 50 miles away. With gas prices the way they are I can't afford to go.

I have never been to one. What exactly do they do? Does it really help you? I would try anything once. I don`t want to have another back surgery but it looks like I am going to have too.

Did you ever get a homeopathic treatment? I have a homeopathist friend who has been practicing it for quite awhile. He got many clients and some of the deserving clients were treated for free as part of his service.
