Sounds like what you are really allergic to is codeine. Make sure that you always tell your doctors and dentists before they prescribe anything to you for pain.

I am allergic to Vicodin. It makes me itch so bad. I`ve been in the hospital a few times. They gave me Morphine or Demerol. Those worked fine with no bad side affects for me.
