You are absolutely right. Sun cream should have been introduced and reinforced to us a long time ago. At least the effects of sun exposure should have been highlighted. I also only enter the sun with sun cream on.

Seeing that I'm having some skin problems, I always wear sunblock too. I make sure my daughter wears it too. She does not want to she wants to tan, but I make her!

Indeed I have, but I fear any damage may have already been done because when I was young my parents were unaware of the need for sunblock, so they did not apply it. I also recall having bad sunburn as a child and I have moles so I just keep my fingers crossed now!

Yes, I always wear sunscreen even if I'm just lounging around the house because UVA rays sneak inside as well. You can certainly undo some of the damage with chemical peels and a few other things.

Have you started avoiding the sun as you get older? I will not step outside without 30 sunblock on, but I wish I had been like that all along. It drives me nuts to think of all the time I used to spend outside with no protection, roasting myself in the sun just to get a tan.
