I'm getting some of those on my face.  I do think they might just be age spots.  I'm not sure what we can do about them.  I think if they are really bothersome, then you could go to a dermatologist and have them taken care of.

I have started getting brown spots on my skin, especially where I am in the sun.  They look like giant freckles!  I remember my dad had them.  But I don't know what they are.  Now I am developing brown patches.  What can I do???  It is kind of strange looking.
