Support is a great thing, but you also have to learn to stand on your own and not rely on that support so much.  Support can be a crutch if you let it.

One of the most important factors when dealing with any type of addiction is knowing that you have others around you who are by your side and pulling for you.  When you have the right kind of support, you can beat the addiction.
