I never heard of toothpaste drying out a pimple, but someone once told me that Pepto Bismol (the liquid) it will dry a pimple up overnight. I'm with the whatever works camp. I am curious as to what ingredient in these things is actually working.

Moisturizing soap clogs my pores and causes pimples. I don't know who started this but I'm glad it works. I've also heard that if you put Visine on a big red zit, it will take the red out?

I've seen some or heard of extraordinary methods to remove or supress pimples. A friend of my mother told me that I can use egg white to remove them but it just irritated my skin which made more pimples.
I say that whatever works for you then go for it. I haven't tried white toothpaste before but don't stop if that works. I'm using moisturizing soap to clean my face and that is the one that works for me.

My young nieces and nephews know about this and use it. They seem to think it works. I wonder whoever thought it up in the first place?

I did this back in the day. It was easier then because we didn't have all of these fancy toothpaste's. We always had just plain white toothpaste at home. It seemed to work too. I don't know what caused it to dry out, but it did!

They say if you use a white toothpaste on your pimple it will dry it up overnight and be gone quicker. Anyone ever try this? I don't think you can use the whitening or flouride kids… just plain white toothpaste.
