Seconding Kyle about the hormonal change during menstruations, I am afraid it has nothing to do with the way you clean your face. My girlfriend also has the same problems, but she is used to it already.

Ugh, this used to happen to me as well. I do chemical peels now right before my period and it really helps to ensure I don't get any bumps when that time of the month comes around.

The hormonal change during your period could be the reason why you get more people during this time. All I can say is that you should visit a dermatologist and the doctor would know what is best to apply during your period to lessen your pimple.

I swear I wash my face better and more often when it's my period. I still get a few big pimples each time I get my period. It makes me sick. What else can I do to stop them from coming during my period?
